XNAStraightPose

Hello everyone,

I have created a small tool based on the open XNALara Sourcecode.
With this tool you can make "Straight" animations with only two Files.
You just need the start pose and the end pose, the rest will be generated, but warning the output is totally straight generated and so may have no good quality.

1) The tool can load Models up to XNALara 9.7.7 (because it based on this Source) and I have added an generic_item.mesh.ascii loader, which seems to work in most of all cases.(but not every case!).
2) Generate based on start pose and end pose all poses between + backward.
3) Play animation

Manual
Spoiler:

1) Create with XNALara the start pose and end pose.
2) Start XNAStraightPose.
3) Press the load button behind start pose and choose the start pose. [This pose must begin with a Number!]
4) Press the load button behind end pose and choose the end pose. [This pose dont must begin with a Number! WARNING: It may get overwritten if it has a Number and is in the calculation!!!]
5) Writte into the count field how much poses should be generated.
OPTIONAL:
5a) Check back if you want also the poses backwarding from the end pose to the start pose.
6) Press the Generate button. [Warning: Every Pose in the Startpose Direction may be overwritten if it has a Number and is in the Calculation!!!]
If anything works fine, a Messagebox will be shown.
OPTIONAL:
7a) Press the load button behind Model and choose a Model file to load.
7b) Check the Checkbox "Play Animation" to show how its looks like. => But this looks on the XPS XNALara version better + XPS has more Model Support...

BTW: XNALara is not Opensource, XNALara is available as source.

Seems very interesting but Im having problems loading models though, it just keeps saying failed to initialize even though I uncheck read-only folder property.

I can't load every Model because I don't know how the XNALara Versions do this after Version 9.7.7!

But you don't need to load your Models, the start & endpose is enough to generate the Files. With this Files you can Play the animation than in XNALara XPS (File -> Load Pose Sequence ; File -> Start Pose Sequence) .

EDIT: you can also try to save the mesh File as Mesh.Ascii, this reader works much better, because it is in readable Ascii Format for me Very Happy(Load Model in XNALara XPS -> Modify -> Save GenericItem -> checkbox "save as Generic_Item.mesh.ascii")

Moderator EDIT:
You should save the mesh File as Generic_Item.mesh (without .ascii), this reader works much better, because it is almost the original XNALara code Very Happy( Load Model in XNALara XPS -> Modify -> Save GenericItem ... -> checkbox "us old generic format")

its worked, thank you for explaining it. I will experiment with it some more today.

because of the changes in XPS here is a new Version for generating the Scale too.

XNAStraightPose required
"XPS 10.9.8.7.6.5 --  Countdown Scale Edition  -- release 171" or higher.
The current XPS Version is
"XPS 10.9.8.7.6.5.4.3.2.1.0  --  Countdown Preview Edition  -- release 176
